From The Artists
"Grey Whiskers Butte | Named after Mr. Grey Whiskers, a Dineh (Navajo) Medicine Man, who was believed to be the first to give tours to white settlers who first began to arrive in the region and wanted to see the “Eighth Wonder of the World”, Monument Valley. Later in life, he helped designate the tribal park in 1958 and to this day, his great-grandchildren are the operators of the Monument Valley Simpson’s Trailhandler Tours."
